Evaluating programs, services and policy around child and family wellbeing has been core business for AIFS for over 25 years. We have extensive experience designing and undertaking a wide range of evaluation projects, from formative and process evaluations, to outcome evaluations, to evaluation capacity building support for services in the child and family welfare sectors. We have expertise in: designing program logics, theories of change, outcome measures, performance indicators and evaluation frameworks; undertaking multi-method evaluations; implementing and managing data collection and fieldwork; and analyses of complex and multiple datasets. We bring the key findings together to provide insight into whether a program or policy achieved its intended outcomes, whether this benefited intended recipients, and the mechanisms that influenced this.
