The purpose of the Social Impact Lead is to manage the implementation of the Social Impact Framework and support evaluative practice across SSI Group. SSI Group’s 2023-2026 Social Impact Strategy signifies the organisation’s commitment to creating, measuring, and achieving meaningful impact, and the Impact and Insight Lead will play a key role in implementing this strategy.
This role is part of a small, specialised team who work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to build SSI’s capability for measuring impact, generating robust evidence, and translating the learnings to support decision-making and organisational strategic planning.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables
• Lead the implementation of the Social Impact Framework, including designing client outcome measurement across SSI.
• Lead SSI’s approach to evaluation (designing, scoping and commissioning and implementing evaluation initiatives), built on sound metrics and research methods, and strong collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead knowledge translation to ensure evidence is shared and utilised to support learning, reflection, and action.
• Continually evolve and improve our approach to evaluation, data analysis and research to support evidence-based decision-making at a program and strategic level.
