Rooftop Social

Rooftop Social

Rooftop Social is a leading provider of evaluation, research and facilitation services in Australia.

Led by Duncan Rintoul, Vanessa Hood and Claire Grealy, our mission is ‘evidence for good’. This shapes how we work, the sectors we focus on and the work we do:

  • how we work – we are flexible, ambitious, balanced, rigorous, inclusive and creative
  • the sectors we focus on – education, justice, environment, health and human services, to name a few
  • who we work with – government and for-purpose organisations that have a commitment to people, places and the planet
  • projects we take on – assignments where we can make a real contribution to things that matter.

Established in 2013, we offer specialist skills in:

  • the development of evaluation and learning frameworks, systems and tools
  • the design and conduct of mixed-methods research and evaluation projects, large and small
  • evaluation building capacity, providing training, coaching and other support to help organisations strengthen and use their evidence base
  • facilitating participatory design and sensemaking processes for innovation in social policy, programs and services.

Our core team is based in NSW and Victoria, with a network of subject matter experts and colleagues nationwide.
