Event Description: 

The NSW Government released its evaluation guidelines early 2023. Following up on an initial successful event in June 2023, the AES is pleased to bring together an event where evaluators from NSW Government, consultancies and other organisations using those guidelines will be able to share their experience.

Presenter Details:

Renee Tao is an Associate Director in the Centre for Economic Evidence at NSW Treasury. As part of the Investment and Evaluation Policy team, Renee looks after the evaluation and benefit management frameworks. She started in NSW Treasury in 2016 and has worked in various areas such as policy, budget and economic advice.

Mark Perrin is Manager Governance, within the Portfolio Management and Assurance area, at the NSW Department of Customer Service. He has had a long career in the NSW public sector and has been involved in evaluation over the past 10 years.

Florent Gomez is the Associate Director for Evidence generation and dissemination at the NSW Agency for Evaluation. Florent is a well-seasoned evaluator with over 15 years experience in consulting and government across Europe and Australia. Florent is the chair of the NSW AES committee.

This free event has been organised by the NSW Regional Network of the AES. Our seminar series provides an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in the evaluation community and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.
