Position Details
The Investment and Evaluation Policy branch has stewardship of the NSW Government Investment Framework. As a senior member of the team, you will apply economic theory and practice to cross-government policy issues. You will undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis, independent research, develop policies and frameworks, drive cross-government reform, and champion use of evidence across the NSW Government.
You will manage or support projects from inception through to delivery, preparing clear briefings, reports and recommendations for senior decision‑makers. Collaboration is central to the role, with regular engagement across Treasury and other government agencies to ensure policy and advice is well‑evidenced, practical and aligned to whole‑of‑government frameworks. Depending on your expertise, you will apply economic or evaluation skills to assess impacts, measure outcomes and strengthen policy development. Across all activities, you will balance analytical rigour with clear communication to support informed government decision‑making.
