Remuneration: $83,280 - $113,025 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation) / $118,974 - $141,283 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

The Institute for Safety Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) is currently on the lookout for their next Research Fellows with experience in evaluation and quantitative research methodology. Are you passionate about making a difference and improving the work environment? Would you like to use your research and evaluation skills in an applied and real world context.

ISCRR is a multi-disciplinary research and knowledge translation institute that has developed an innovative collaboration research model, which seeks to create knowledge and influence thinking so that people can lead healthier lives. ISCRR conducts and facilitates research and evaluation that drives improvements in health and social outcomes in occupational health and safety, rehabilitation and compensation practice.

Key Responsibilities of the Research Fellow are:
- Providing input to grant and proposal writing
- Literature review
- Research and Analysis Design
- Evaluation design and implementation
- Data Acquisition, analysis, presentation and preparation of a range of research outputs to a high standard and client expectations
- Management of and access to key team data resources
- Attendance at meetings associated with research or the work of the organisational unit

The successful candidate will possess:
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area or equivalent research experience
- Proven experience in quantitative statistical analysis and managing and working with large data sets or working in applied evaluation projects
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities would be well regarded
- Demonstrated experience in manuscript and research proposal preparation skills with a proven track record of refereed research publications
- High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to establish and achieve goals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including drafting of academic papers and grants
- High level computer skills with software skills such as Microsoft Office, SAS, SPSS
