Event Description:

Event description: This information session is for those who want to learn more about the EvaluAdd buddying program, if you’re thinking about being part of the program either as a buddy or EvaluAdder. Come and hear about how the program will run in 2026, and learn about past participants’ experiences and tips for getting the most out of the program. There’ll also be opportunities to ask questions.

What is EvaluAdd?

The EvaluAdd program aims to develop participants’ evaluation skills and capabilities by pairing “buddies” with “EvaluAdders”. The pairs are matched on the preferences of buddies (e.g. gender; geographic location; experience; work setting; policy area) and the background and experience of the EvaluAdders. It is a light-touch program in which the buddying pairs meet informally according to their own schedule.

This is a free event and program is being organised and managed by AES members who are volunteers from the NSW and QLD Regional Committees. Our seminar series provides an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in the evaluation community and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.
