Event description:
The two Mentors and six Mentees of the AES Group Mentoring focus on “Strategic Evaluation” are open to sharing reflections on: their experiences of the Group Mentoring process and their insights about Strategic Evaluation (SE) and associated concepts and practices. Although initially introduced by Sharp (1999; 2005) and encompassing the engagement of the executive management and Board Directors in integrating evaluation of their organisation’s programs and their Board’s strategic direction and governance; the group explored associate concepts and practices as they considered the evaluation competencies involved.
Presenters details:
The six Mentees draw from their experience as Evaluators in Commonwealth, State and NFP organisations. They have been developing their awareness and situational variations in the use of SE in their own evaluation practice as well as reflecting on their potential applications in their different organisations.
This is a free event organised & hosted by the South Australian Regional Network of the AES. Our seminar series provides an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in the evaluation community and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.
Please ensure you have access to your email address to receive the zoom details. Please also check your email address is correct on your registration form before submitting.
The session is not being recorded for publication, but will be recorded for the presenters’ professional development as part of the AES Group Mentoring Program.
