Andrew Hawkins, Chief Evaluator at ARTD and a key committee member of the AES Systems SIG, kicks off with a sharp 10-min overview on spheres of influence, adaptive interventions, and valuing in complex systems. His ever active brain will deliver a concise 10-minute overview drawn from his "Systems Evaluation Minimum Viable Product" document, sparking interactive discussion on applying these concepts in real-world policy and evaluation contexts. Presenter details:

Andrew Hawkins is a Partner and Chief Evaluator at ARTD Consultants, where he leads evaluation design, thought leadership, and business-to-government engagement on evaluation policy and practice. With over 25 years of experience in public policy, he has directed more than 235 substantial evaluations across sectors like health, human services, education, employment, environment, and immigration, emphasising reasoned action for evidence-based decision-making.

This is a special event organised by the AES Systems SIG. AES free events provide an opportunity for you to meet with AES members and others in the evaluation community and to share and learn from the experiences of fellow evaluators.
